Game Watch reported that playing the packaged version of the collection requires an internet connection to download additional data. It added that the Steam release is sold under the name KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE, at a different price than the packaged version. [ 3 ]
The three component titles were also released individually the same day, according to Game Watch, which listed unit prices of 5,280 yen and 4,180 yen for them. The report said the series will reach its 25th anniversary in 2027 and described Kingdom Hearts III as the work to play ahead of Kingdom Hearts IV. [ 3 ]
Ahead of release, Game*Spark and INSIDE published identical hands-on previews written from the viewpoint of a player new to the series, saying the collection made it easier to follow a story previously spread over many titles. The preview described the first game's protagonist Sora travelling Disney worlds with Donald and Goofy, and said the collection's presentation lets players return to earlier entries when questions arise. Por qué importa
The collection gathers titles that were previously spread across several releases into a single package, which the tech outlets presenting hands-on impressions described as a convenient entry point for players who have never followed the series. Game Watch noted that the series will mark its 25th anniversary in 2027 and framed Kingdom Hearts III as the work to play ahead of Kingdom Hearts IV. The release is a Japan-announced multiplatform title from Square Enix, a franchise with a large international following.
