The festival, now in its third year, is built around the company’s main game franchises. Five titles took part: Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, Tears of Themis, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, each with booths built on the games’ settings and characters. Honkai Impact 3rd ran an event in which participants used clues to find treasures and collectibles, Genshin Impact offered missions modelled on the adventurers’ guild requests in the game, and Tears of Themis set up a space where visitors wrote messages to the characters. Honkai: Star Rail had participants act as trainee reporters carrying out missions, while Zenless Zone Zero offered a program in which visitors danced the waltz with the character Remiel. Alongside the booths, the event included stage events by time slot, special performances and an exhibition of fan-made works, and closed with a cosplay parade of participants dressed as game characters, according to the reports. [ 1 , 3 ]
Partner companies ran their own spaces. Google Play offered limited photo cards and prize events, and Galaxy Store set up an experience zone for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Fold8 with large-screen themed experiences and coupons, ZDNet Korea reported. HoYoverse Korea said it will keep creating places where game fans can meet and extend their experience in and around games. The company added that it will attend GISTA 2026 in Busan in November, its first appearance at the show in four years since 2022, with a 100-booth exhibition space in Hall 1. There it plans to present on-site programs for existing titles including Zenless Zone Zero and to hold the first domestic offline demos of the upcoming titles Honkai: Nexus Anima and Petit Planet.
