BTS received three nominations for the 2026 Kids' Choice Awards in a list announced by Nickelodeon on October 8 local time, Korean outlets reported. The group is nominated for Favorite Music Group or Duo, while its fifth studio album ARIRANG and title track SWIM are nominated for Favorite Album and Favorite Song. The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 14 in Los Angeles. [ 1 , 3 , 4 , 6 ]
The group won Favorite Music Group in each year from 2020 to 2023 and is seeking its fifth award in the category. Chosun Ilbo and Dong-A Ilbo reported that BTS first won a Kids' Choice trophy in 2018 for Favorite Global Music Star. In 2021, it won three awards, including Favorite Song for Dynamite, Favorite Music Group and Favorite Global Music Star. [ 1 , 3 , 4 ]
BLACKPINK joins BTS in the music-group or duo category. BLACKPINK member Rosé is nominated for Favorite Female Artist, while Jennie is nominated for a music collaboration for Dracula with Tame Impala. KATSEYE is nominated for Favorite Female Breakout Artist or Group, according to Yonhap and Newsis. Those outlets also reported several nominations for the animated film KPop Demon Hunters, including Favorite Animated Movie and a movie-song nomination for Golden. [ 3 , 6 ]
Newsis reported that Taylor Swift led this year's nominations with six, followed by Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter with five each. Chosun Ilbo said the album category puts BTS alongside artists including Swift, Drake and Carpenter, while Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Olivia Rodrigo also feature in the song category. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and Nickelodeon, according to Chosun Ilbo, Dong-A Ilbo and Newsis. [ 1 , 4 , 6 ]
