RIA Novosti reported that grenades and automatic weapons were found at the suspect. Rosgvardia published footage of the detention, reported by both TASS and RIA Novosti. Why it matters
The case is being reported entirely by Russia's state-owned official outlets, which relayed statements from law enforcement and Rosgvardia. The weapons found in the suspect's garage — grenades, TNT and, according to RIA Novosti, automatic weapons — point to the investigation widening beyond the killings themselves, though the documents give no further detail on charges or the outcome of the court's decision on arrest.
