A free demo of the Russian indie game “Ларёк на улице Ленина” (Lenin Street Geek Shop) was released on Steam in early October 2026, according to Habr News and 3DNews. The game is a simulator of a kiosk selling geek items, made by the Moscow studio perelesoq, the developer of Torn Away, 3DNews reported. DTF and Igromania also reported the demo was available in Steam. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ]

According to 3DNews, the demo is available exclusively in Steam and offers four days of play, 30 characters, unique content that will not be in the full game, and special items that can be unlocked for it. A trailer released alongside the demo contains three digits that unlock a secret cartoon inside the demo, and the trial version includes a cameo by Russian blogger Syenduk, whose real name is Dmitry Karpov. DTF also mentioned the 30 characters and the cameo. [ 1 , 3 , 4 ]

3DNews said the game is set in the 2000s and follows Kirill, a ninth-grader who dropped out of school and took a job at a kiosk of thousands of geek trifles to earn money for a holiday in Turkey for his mother, who had never been to the sea. Habr News described it as a simulator of a shop seller from the mid-2000s. [ 2 , 4 ]

The studio said it is already working on the first patches for the demo, and that one future update will bring partial voice acting; the word count in the full game has exceeded 100,000, according to 3DNews. The release is expected in 2026 on PC via Steam, with promised references to pop-culture phenomena, more than 60 characters whom players can shortchange and placate, illegal ways of growing the business and survival elements, 3DNews reported. [ 4 ]

3DNews also reported that a second kiosk simulator is in development in parallel: “Размена не будет” (I Have No Change) from the Cyprus-based studio Studio Rassvet, which it described as having Russian roots, with a release planned for 2027, also for Steam. [ 4 ]

Why it matters

The release is one of two Russian-linked kiosk simulators reported to be in development, with 3DNews noting that “Размена не будет” from Cyprus-based Studio Rassvet is planned for 2027. For readers outside Russia the news is mainly of interest to players following indie games set in the post-Soviet 2000s; the documents give no sales, funding or platform-exclusivity figures beyond Steam.
