Air Arabia has resumed flights between Moscow's Domodedovo airport and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, Russia's Transport Ministry said, according to reports by TASS, RBC, RIA Novosti and Kommersant. The route had been suspended in July because of the Middle East conflict. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 5 ]
The first flight from the emirate arrived in Moscow at 21:45 Moscow time on 8 October, the ministry said, and the flights will be operated daily. They are scheduled on Airbus A320neo aircraft with 174 seats. Departure from Domodedovo is at 22:35, with arrival in Sharjah at 06:00 the following day; the return flight leaves Sharjah at 16:00 and lands in Moscow at 21:45, the ministry said. [ 3 , 5 ]
From 14 December the airline will increase the number of flights between Moscow and Sharjah to two a day, the ministry added.
