The stock opened at 427.00 yuan and reached 508.99 yuan at its intraday high. Jiemian said the close was the biggest one-day gain since the company listed on the STAR Market on 19 August, apart from its first day of trading. [ 13 , 15 , 16 , 17 ]

The rise built through the day. CLS reported at 10:55 that Unitree was up more than 10%, lifting total market value above 190 billion yuan, with Ningbo Dongli (宁波东力) and other stocks following. By 14:15 36Kr reported a gain of more than 15%, at 492.00 yuan, and CLS reported at 14:18 that the gain had widened to 15% and market value was back above 200 billion yuan. Jiemian put the gain at more than 16% at 14:52 and at more than 17% at 15:22. [ 1 , 3 , 4 , 8 , 11 ]

China News Service said A shares were broadly stable on 19 October, with the main indexes mostly higher. Citing Eastmoney, it said the robot actuator and robot sectors rose 2.95% and 2.9%, with actuators leading all concept sectors. Ningbo Dongli, Buke (步科股份), Shuanghuan (双环传动) and Mingzhi (鸣志电器) each rose more than 7%. The Shanghai Composite closed at 3730, up 0.39%, and the ChiNext index fell 0.94%. 36Kr reported that several humanoid robot stocks hit limit-up in the afternoon. [ 14 , 15 ]

Outlets pointed to several developments. CLS, citing CCTV, said the State Administration for Market Regulation had approved and released the first six national standards for humanoid robots, to take effect on 1 April 2027; they comprise five technical requirements standards and a technical specification for a simulation test platform. Jiemian dated the approval to 15 October. On 19 October the Ministry of Commerce and eight other departments published an opinion on accelerating sci-tech commerce, which calls for embodied intelligence to be applied in commerce and for robot companionship to be cultivated as a new smart-service format. Jiemian also said OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman confirmed on 18 October that the company will develop humanoid robots, and that Unitree founder Wang Xingxing is among the drafters of the standard on technical requirements for humanoid robots. [ 1 , 10 , 13 , 14 ]

China News Service quoted Guo Yiming, an investment adviser director at Shaanxi Jufeng Investment Information, as saying policy and industry news remain an important market variable and that the opinion could strengthen expectations of technology and consumer scenarios merging, which he said favours related listed companies. Jiemian cited a Frost & Sullivan report that global humanoid robot sales in the first half of 2026 reached 36,000 units, above the 35,000 sold in all of 2025, and that Chinese companies took all of the top five places by revenue. Why it matters
