CD Projekt Red said update 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077, named the Edgerunners 2 update, will be released on 22 October for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The update marks the release of the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, which became available on Netflix on 20 October. Inven said all 10 episodes were released from 16:00 Korean time. It also adds a radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM, playing music from the Edgerunners series. A new perk called dual-wield weapons and four supporting perks join the Cool trait tree, letting players fight with pistols and revolvers in both hands. A Glamdoc system lets players change the look of arm cyberware such as Mantis Blades and Gorilla Arms. Kyunghyang Games also reported cross-platform mod support based on mod.io for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2, though playing a console save file with mods applied disables achievements and trophies. The update adds DLSS 4.5 support, a field-of-view setting on console and PS5 Pro optimization. The outlet said Cyberpunk 2077 is on sale on Steam at 70 percent off, for 19,800 won, until the 27th.
