The group debuted on Oct. 13 with the pre-release single of the same name, so the album comes about a month later. Seoul Economic Daily said the group has 15 members, and Newsis described it as a multinational group. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
According to Yonhap, Lee set the musical direction, and Yoo Young-jin, HAAN and GENT! took part in the song production. Newsis said HAAN worked on 'Stay' by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber and GENT! collaborated with Drake and Doja Cat. Seoul Economic Daily said Lee personally chose composers with whom he had no previous collaboration, and that HAAN and GENT! worked on the pre-release 'Superstar'. Newsis and Seoul Economic Daily reported that 'Superstar' reached No. 2 on China's QQ Music new song chart and No. 18 on YouTube's trending music list. Seoul Economic Daily added that it ranked sixth on the QQ Music popular song chart and fourth on its global music video chart. Yonhap said A2O Lite, a girl group Lee presented together with A2O Soul, topped Melon's Top 100 chart one day after releasing 'Neon' and won on SBS Life's music show 'The Show' within a week. [ 1 ]
