Eleven of the injured are in serious condition. Vedomosti, citing Xinhua, said 21 others have minor injuries. RIA Novosti said the tremors destroyed more than 300 houses, and Vedomosti gave the same figure; Kommersant said more than 330 houses were destroyed. Authorities are assessing the damage and taking measures to deal with the aftermath, according to RIA Novosti, and Vedomosti said rescue and recovery work is continuing in the affected area.
