Gas exploded in the village of Novoe in North Ossetia on 22 October, injuring a mother and her five children. Kommersant, citing a channel, said five children and one adult were hurt and that the incident happened in Prigorodny district, in a separate building on the grounds of a private household. RIA Novosti reported that a gas-air mixture exploded in a private house in the village, and TASS's summary said the gas pop occurred in a kitchen room. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
According to RIA Novosti, five children were taken to the DRKB in Nazran and the mother was hospitalised at the IRKB in Nazran. Kommersant said all of the injured were taken to the Ingush Republican Clinical Hospital and gave no information on their condition. The prosecutor's office told RIA Novosti that it is establishing the circumstances, and the Prigorodny district prosecutor is at the scene. [ 1 , 2 ]
Later reports described the condition of the injured. RIA Novosti said at 11:39 that the children were in intensive care and at 12:30 that three people were in intensive care. At 23:04 TASS reported that two children were in intensive care and three more minors were in the trauma department. [ 4 , 5 , 6 ]
On 23 October RIA Novosti reported that Lvova-Belova visited the mother and the children injured in the explosion. [ 7 ]
