Fire halts production at Cardón refinery in northwestern Venezuela, workers evacuated
Коротко
A fire broke out at the Cardón refinery in northwestern Venezuela, with flames and heavy smoke visible at the site, according to Chinese business outlets. Workers were evacuated and the plant temporarily stopped production. The reports gave no cause, casualties or timeline for a restart.
Почему это важно
The documents do not say how large the Cardón refinery is, how much output has been lost or how long production will be halted, so the effect on Venezuela's fuel supply cannot be judged from them. The incident was carried by Chinese business outlets as a short item, with no market or industry reaction reported.
