Shengyi Technology (生益科技, 600183.SH) said in an announcement on October 16 that it expects net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company of 6.46 billion to 6.87 billion yuan for the first three quarters of 2026, an increase of 164% to 181% from a year earlier, according to CLS, Jiemian, Yicai and 36Kr. Jiemian reported that the increase amounts to 4,016.84 million to 4,426.84 million yuan, and that net profit excluding non-recurring items is expected at 6.12 billion to 6.53 billion yuan, up 157% to 174%. In its copper-clad laminate segment, the company said it faced rapidly rising raw material prices and continued fast growth in demand for high-end products. Products it developed earlier were brought to market and contributed profit, expanded capacity was released in time to meet demand, and it adjusted its sales mix, which lifted copper-clad laminate sales volume, revenue and gross profit, according to CLS and Yicai. The company also said returns on its outside investment projects helped raise profitability. [ 1 , 3 ]
In the circuit board segment, the company said its subsidiary Shengyi Electronics (生益电子) benefited from strong demand in the AI computing sector, focused on mid- to high-end markets, released capacity, upgraded technology and steadily raised the share of high value-added products, CLS reported. Shengyi Electronics (688183.SH) separately forecast net profit attributable to shareholders of 1,868.6 million to 1,951.7 million yuan for the first three quarters, up 68% to 75%, an increase of 753.92 million to 837.02 million yuan, according to CLS, Jiemian and Yicai. CLS reported that its revenue and net profit both grew from a year earlier. [ 5 , 6 , 7 ]
Based on the forecasts, CLS calculated that Shengyi Technology's third-quarter net profit would be 3.173 billion to 3.583 billion yuan, up 49% to 68% from 2.129 billion yuan in the second quarter, and that Shengyi Electronics' third-quarter net profit would be 758 million to 841 million yuan, up 13% to 26% from 666 million yuan in the second quarter.
