Vedomosti reported that unmanned systems units received reconnaissance UAVs Supercam, Skat, Orlan and Molniya of various modifications, as well as strike FPV drones of aircraft and copter types, including models with radio and fiber-optic control. The ministry said the hexacopters were intended for strikes on shelters and personnel and for delivering supplies to the line of contact. [ 3 ]

On naval equipment, the ministry said the project 12700 minesweeper Semen Agafonov, under construction for the Northern Fleet, was launched in September. [ 2 , 3 ]

The documents do not say how the more than 10,000 units are counted, what share of them reached units, or where the equipment was deployed. The TASS report was available only as a headline, without further detail. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]

Почему это важно

The figures are the defense ministry's own account of monthly deliveries and indicate the scale it claims for arms output going to the armed forces. They come amid the continuing war in Ukraine, though the documents do not say how the units are counted or where the equipment went. The list, including strike drones and ground robotic systems, points to the categories the ministry chooses to highlight publicly.
