Temperatures in Moscow are running above the climate norm, forecasters quoted by Russian outlets said. RBC reported that on Friday, 9 October, the air temperature would rise to plus 16 to plus 18 degrees, 6 to 7 degrees above the climate norm, citing Mikhail Leus (Михаил Леус), a leading specialist at the Fobos (Фобос) weather centre. Yevgeny Tishkovets (Евгений Тишковец), a leading specialist at the Fobos weather centre, told RIA Novosti that rain will set in on Monday, with night temperatures of plus 9 to plus 12 and daytime temperatures warming to plus 14 to plus 17. He said temperatures on Tuesday would be the same, but the weather would gradually improve.
