Ziguang (紫光股份) said on October 14 that it expected net profit attributable to shareholders of 2.42 billion–3.06 billion yuan in the first nine months of 2026. That would be an increase of 72.38%–117.97% from a year earlier, according to its announcement reported by CLS, Yicai and Jiemian. IT Home identified the forecast period as January through September. [ 1 , 2 , 4 , 5 ]
The company attributed the projected improvement to opportunities in intelligent computing and domestic substitution, a focus on AI infrastructure and solutions, and expansion of overseas business. It said these developments had driven revenue growth and improved gross margins. Yicai reported the company's account that it had adjusted its business structure, used its supply-chain system to maintain deliveries and deepened its globalisation strategy. [ 1 , 4 , 5 ]
Ziguang also cited the acquisition of a 6.98% stake in Xinhua San (新华三), increasing its holding to 87.98% and boosting net profit attributable to shareholders. IT Home said the transaction was completed at the end of May 2026. The company said related financial liabilities had matured, so it was no longer accruing interest expenses on them, according to CLS and Jiemian. [ 1 , 2 , 5 ]
CLS calculated projected third-quarter net profit at 253 million–893 million yuan, compared with second-quarter profit of 1.379 billion yuan. The outlet said that implied a quarter-on-quarter decline of 35%–81%. IT Home reported that the forecast was preliminary and that detailed financial figures would be disclosed in the third-quarter report. A 36Kr summary prints different monetary units for the lower bounds of its profit ranges than those used by the other outlets. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ]
Why it matters
The forecast combines business growth with ownership and financing changes that the company says boosted attributable profit. CLS calculated that projected third-quarter profit was below the second-quarter level.
