The Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (한국환경산업기술원) announced that the 2026 Korea Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Eco Fair is being held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for three days from 21 October, Newsis reported. According to the announcement, 234 companies take part, with 433 booths across five exhibition halls. A power and energy hall is new this year and presents renewable energy, energy-efficiency technology and smart power management. Other halls cover carbon-neutrality solutions such as fuel switching and greenhouse gas management, ESG solutions such as disclosure platforms and supply-chain systems, resource recycling, and green products and construction. The exhibition also includes a physical-AI robot system that automates the dismantling of used batteries, and an AI special hall that presents projects supporting commercialisation of AI products in the environmental field. A Green Card promotion hall explains climate-action schemes, and export and public-procurement consultations are meant to help exhibitors find buyers. [ 2 ]

Second Vice Minister Lee Ho-hyeon was listed to attend at 14:00 on 21 October. Participating companies issued their own announcements. Cheongho Nice (청호나이스) said it installed six water purifiers as a drinking corner and runs a tumbler photo event, with coffee coupons for 30 winners drawn by lot. Otec Carrier (오텍캐리어), described as an affiliate of Otec Group, said on 22 October that it is showing heat pump products for household, commercial and industrial use, with a carbon-neutrality theme booth. Why it matters
