The company said it has set up a dedicated booth at the event. According to Seoul Economic Daily, Yuhan intends to use the event to expand its global contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) business. The company plans to present the raw-material (API) production capacity of its subsidiary Yuhan Chemical together with its new drug research and development pipeline, and to seek new cooperation opportunities with overseas pharmaceutical and bio companies. Yuhan staff handling global business, R&D and overseas sales will hold one-on-one business meetings at the show. [ 3 ]
The company said Yuhan Chemical, which handles Yuhan's API production, is continuing to increase production capacity while building a quality management system aligned with global regulatory standards, in order to win overseas customers. Yuhan plans to raise contract manufacturing volumes from existing customers and to use CPHI to find new partners for further CDMO orders, with its new drug pipeline also positioned as an asset for global partnerships, Seoul Economic Daily reported. A Yuhan official said CPHI is “an important opportunity to show Yuhan Yanghaeng's global commercialisation capabilities and technology to overseas markets,” adding that the company would strengthen cooperation with existing partners and expand new business opportunities on the basis of its innovative drug pipeline and global-level CDMO competitiveness.
