Kiwoom Securities said on Oct 6 that it will hold “Kiwoom Corp Day” on Oct 15, inviting 15 domestic small and mid-cap companies to meet investors. Both Yonhap and Seoul Economic Daily reported that individual investors may take part, not only institutions. The event will be held on the seventh floor of the Financial Investment Education Institute in Yeouido, Seoul, and sessions will start at 9:10 a.m. in three session rooms running at the same time, according to Asia Economy, Yonhap and Seoul Economic Daily. The theme is “Small-cap rescue squad: finding hidden strong small companies.” Kiwoom Securities said the event focuses on small caps and that its research center selected companies with solid fundamentals that had not had many investor-relations opportunities, going a step beyond a previous edition that highlighted major Kosdaq names, Asia Economy and Yonhap reported. Lee Jong-hyung, head of the brokerage's research center, said the event connects investors with small companies that have solid fundamentals but are not well known in the market, and that the brokerage will keep identifying promising companies every quarter to provide investment information to individual and institutional investors, according to Seoul Economic Daily and Yonhap. [ 1 , 2 , 4 ]
Yonhap listed the morning presenters as Enviral Motion, Inometri, NBT, IGNet, Ercos and Platier, with TBH Global, Assems, Pamtek, SMCG, Hanchang Paper, Simplatform, Jison, SCL Science and CU Medical appearing in the afternoon. Seoul Economic Daily named the same 15 companies without splitting them by session, and Asia Economy named only the six morning presenters. [ 2 , 4 ]
Institutional investors can pre-register through Kiwoom Securities' corporate sales team or research center, and individual investors can hear company presentations on site, Seoul Economic Daily reported. It said seating is limited for some sessions and may close on a first-come, first-served basis. Yonhap reported that individuals may take part but gave no registration details. [ 2 , 4 ]
The Corp Day is part of Korea Premium Week 2026, which Asia Economy described as an integrated capital-markets IR conference that groups corporate presentations and conferences previously held separately by institution. Yonhap said the programme has been under way since Sept 28, and Seoul Economic Daily said it runs from Sept 28 to Oct 16. Asia Economy reported that the research center has held Corp Days quarterly since the start of this year and that this is the third of 2026. [ 1 , 2 , 4 ]
Why it matters
The event gives smaller listed companies that have had few investor-relations opportunities a direct channel to individual and institutional investors, Kiwoom Securities said. As the third such event this year on a quarterly schedule and part of an integrated capital-markets IR period, it reflects the brokerage's effort to gather corporate presentations scattered across institutions into one window. Relevance outside South Korea is limited to observers of the Korean small-cap market.

Still unclear
- Whether all 15 listed companies will actually present. Yonhap lists all 15 by morning and afternoon session and Seoul Economic Daily lists the same 15 without sessions, while Asia Economy names only the six morning presenters; none of the documents says the list could change.
- How many investors will attend and how individual registration works. The documents say individuals may attend on site and that some sessions have limited, first-come seating, but give no figures or sign-up procedure.
- Details from the Newsis report on the same announcement. Newsis published a headline saying Kiwoom Securities is seeking hidden small companies and will hold a 15-company Corp Day, but the article text available was about an unrelated Supreme Court hearing, so no specifics from it are used here.
