Warhammer Survivors will be released on November 10, 2026, developer and publisher Auroch Digital announced, according to IGN, GameSpot and Polygon. The game is priced at $7.99, with IGN adding £6.39 and €7.49 and a 10% launch and preorder discount on select platforms. It will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PC and mobile, and IGN and GameSpot both report it will be available at no extra charge to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on day one. The game is a roguelite bullet heaven, or survivorslike, from Warhammer 40,000’s Auroch Digital in partnership with poncle, the developer of Vampire Survivors, which Polygon described as bringing its expertise to the project. It draws on both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar settings and includes more than 40 playable characters, each with different weapons and stats, according to the outlets. IGN lists more than 75 weapons and over 15 stages, while GameSpot describes an arsenal of 70 weapons to collect. Both mention Extremis Bosses, which IGN says are intended to be the most challenging content “even for Survivors-like veterans.” [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
A new demo is available now on PC via Steam, and IGN adds that it can also be played on Xbox. The demo adds the characters Lyssa Ravenya and The Legend of Catachan alongside improvements based on community feedback from an earlier demo, according to IGN and GameSpot. IGN also describes weapons in the game, including Neave Blacktalon’s Tempest Axes and Malum Caedo’s Chainsword, along with items inspired by the tabletop game. [ 1 , 2 ]
The launch lands in a November that GameSpot and Polygon say is crowded. GameSpot reports the date falls nine days before Grand Theft Auto 6, then scheduled for November 19, and notes that many publishers have chosen to avoid that window, calling the decision to launch anyway a risk. Polygon places the release between The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Grand Theft Auto 6 and lists other November titles including Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered and Barbie Rewind. The outlets also note related titles. Polygon reports that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4, a real-time strategy game, will be out in December after a recent delay. GameSpot reports that poncle is working on Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble, a “survivors royal” game drawing on the manga and anime’s Culling Games storyline, whose release slipped from this year to 2027.
