Actress Yang Jung-a (양정아) said she has no plans to remarry and described actor Kim Seung-soo (김승수) as "just a friend," in an episode of KBS 1TV's variety programme 'Hwang Shin-hye's Let's Live Together' (황신혜의 같이 삽시다) that aired on October 7. In the episode, Yang, Hwang Shin-hye (황신혜) and Shin Gye-suk (신계숙) talked about love and marriage with local people. Chosun Ilbo and Newsis said they attended a gathering of people in their 50s and 60s, with Chosun Ilbo identifying them as residents of Naengjeong-ri (냉정리); Hankook Ilbo described them as women in their 60s. Yang replied that Kim is just a friend and said: "I have been married once. I don't yet feel that I should meet a man and marry again." When people told her to reconsider, Shin said the cast would take care of it themselves and that if she married, she would hold the wedding at the Naengjeong-ri village hall, according to Newsis. Yang and Kim, described by Hankook Ilbo as longtime friends, had appeared together on SBS TV's 'My Little Old Boy' (미운 우리 새끼), where Newsis said their relationship seemed to develop beyond friendship. Hankook Ilbo reported that Yang said on MBC's 'Radio Star' last year that after a few broadcasts a rumour spread that they would marry at a hotel, and that it remained "a really funny episode" between close friends. According to Hankook Ilbo, Yang married a businessman three years younger than her in 2013 and divorced in December 2017.
