Steve Witkoff, special envoy of the US president, said the United States had discussed with representatives of Kyiv, Europe and NATO a settlement of the Ukraine conflict before the onset of winter, RIA Novosti reported. In a post quoted by RIA Novosti, Witkoff wrote that representatives of the United States, the E3 countries, the European Commission, Ukraine and NATO met in Miami and held constructive discussions on possible ways to de-escalate and end the war with Russia before winter, and on advancing efforts toward a durable and lasting peace.
