Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar (Юрий Слюсарь) said six people were injured in an overnight Ukrainian drone attack on October 10. Two remained in hospitals in moderately serious condition, according to reports by RIA Novosti, Kommersant and Meduza. RIA Novosti and Kommersant reported that one wounded person was receiving emergency surgical care. Meduza said the governor identified the injured as residents of Rostov-on-Don. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]

RIA Novosti quoted the governor as saying two people received care at the scene, four were taken to hospital, and two of those four were discharged for outpatient treatment after their wounds were treated. Kommersant's account differs: it says the four hospitalised people were sent for outpatient care, while also saying two people remained in hospital. Both reports give the same total of six injured and two remaining in hospital. [ 1 , 2 ]

The governor reported damage to several apartment buildings and private homes in Rostov-on-Don and an unoccupied new building in Bataysk. Meduza reported that a drone hit the Bataysk building and a fire began. Two ships were damaged in Azov; Kommersant said preliminary information showed no deaths or injuries aboard. A railway bridge was also damaged, according to Meduza. Train movements were halted but restored by morning. [ 2 , 3 ]

Emergency services continued working at the affected sites. Kommersant reported that they were extinguishing a fire at industrial warehouse facilities. Meduza cited Astra as reporting a fire at an oil-loading terminal in Rostov-on-Don's Zheleznodorozhny district. The governor said more than 100 drones had been destroyed over the region, according to RIA Novosti and Kommersant; Meduza described the governor's total as drones destroyed and suppressed.
