Toss Securities announced on October 14 that it had strengthened AI-based investment-information services by adding a market tab to its app and expanding an existing real-time issues service. The company said the changes were designed to put major market information together and explain the background and context of important investment issues. The market tab combines indices, trading flows, stock-market trends and real-time market charts on a single screen, the company said. Major indices switch automatically according to trading hours in South Korea and the United States. An AI market summary presents the day's main developments and updates every hour. A stock-market trends feature presents sector gains and losses and the movement of individual stocks visually. Real-time charts rank stocks by trading volume and sharp rises or falls, while foreign and institutional investor trading trends are also shown. Toss Securities also revised the AI-based real-time issues service it launched in March. It now explains the background of issues as well as selecting them. An AI wiki explains economic and financial terminology, and an issue timeline orders major developments chronologically. In AI chat, users can ask about issues and receive answers based on related articles.
