According to Seoul Economic Daily, the university said the leaks occurred between 19:41 and 19:43 on 20 October and in a window on the morning of 21 October. Per-person details of the leaked items are to be posted in the notices on Yonsei's main website from 13:00 on 22 October. It said it would do its best to prevent a recurrence. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]

Why it matters

The leak involves contact details and student or staff ID numbers, and the university warned members to watch for messages impersonating the school. The documents do not say who was behind the access or how many people are affected beyond Yonhap's figure.
