Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi has launched a new season of entertainment, cultural, educational, wellness and family activities, featuring returning attractions and new collaborations with organisations across the city, according to the park's announcement carried by WAM, Aletihad and Gulf News. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
Cinema in the Park returns from 2 October, offering family-friendly films every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 to 21:00. The Park Market returns on 23 October and runs every Friday and Saturday from 16:00 to 22:00 throughout the season, offering shopping, food and community experiences while providing SMEs and local businesses with a platform to showcase their products; the documents say the market will highlight the values of kindness and giving during October. The park will host a series of health and wellbeing initiatives during October. A public blood donation drive, organised in collaboration with SEHA and Al Rahba Hospital, will take place on 9 October from 16:00 to 21:00. As part of Pinktober 2026, Burjeel Holdings will provide a mammogram truck and free health check-ups on 23 and 24 October to raise awareness of breast cancer screening and preventive health. On 30 October, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City will host a community event featuring a mammogram truck, walkathon, giveaways and health-focused activities. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
From 30 October to 1 November, the park will host a Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Pop-Up at Shade House Lawn, featuring Emirati artist Mohammed Kazem and his Directions series through talks, workshops and interactive activities. The three-day programme runs daily from 11:00 to 20:00 and includes talks on Kazem's artistic practice, an interactive Place and Perception activity, a mapping workshop inspired by his use of geographical data, as well as a public quiz and giveaways. Education remains part of the season. Following programmes last season covering animal and desert life, sustainability, heritage, ecosystems and the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the park will again welcome schools with tailored programmes, according to WAM and Aletihad, whose texts end mid-sentence. Gulf News describes education as a key part of the 2026-27 season and separately reports that the BOUNCE freestyle attraction returned to the park on 1 October and that the Animal Barn returns with animal interactions, feeding sessions, pony rides and camel rides — details not carried by the other two reports. Why it matters
The programme gives Abu Dhabi residents a schedule of free-standing community, health and cultural activities through the autumn season, and gives small and local businesses a recurring market platform. The October health events tie the park to breast-cancer screening awareness and to hospital partnerships in the emirate. Relevance beyond the UAE is limited to the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi pop-up and its featured Emirati artist.
