Kenichiro Katsura, an animator and character designer, died on September 30, 2026, at the age of 59, according to reports published on October 5 by Livedoor News, Game*Spark and Yahoo! News Japan. Miyaji thanked the fans as well as the production companies, staff and others involved, Game*Spark reported. She said that if people murmured in their hearts that they liked a character, a property or a piece of animation, she believed it would reach him, and asked them to watch his works again when they had time, closing: “Thank you very much for all the support and warm words so far.” [ 2 ]
