Alongside the broadcast announcement, applications opened for a “special viewing” that lets a limited audience watch the stage in person at the venue rather than through a screen. Applications are being accepted through a dedicated form until 11:59 on October 11. The announcements state that viewers at the venue can watch the guest stages, the program's various segments and the moment of a major announcement together with the performers and other fans. The documents say the program will look back at the game's history while presenting upcoming developments and the latest in-game information. It is also set to include talks and variety segments with a line-up of guests, participatory corners for viewers, and a special stage featuring songs and music. No details were given about the content of the announcements or the participants. [ 2 , 3 ]
The title is handled jointly by developer SHIFT UP and Level Infinite, the outlets said, and was officially released on November 4, 2022. It is distributed free to play with item purchases on iOS, Android and PC. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
Why it matters
The livestream is positioned by the outlet coverage as the moment when the game's next content and developments will be disclosed, which matters to the title's existing players. The separate in-person viewing slot gives a small number of fans direct access to the announcements and stage program. The documents give no indication of the scale of the anniversary campaign beyond the broadcast itself.
