Lego has announced three new Batman sets, all scheduled to go on sale on January 1, 2027, according to Polygon and GamesRadar+; IGN gives the date as January 1 without specifying the year. The sets were revealed in honour of New York Comic Con 2026, GamesRadar+ reported. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
The largest of the three is Lego DC Batman: The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover, a buildable mural based on the cover of Detective Comics #880 by artist Jock, first published in 2011. Polygon puts it at 1,849 pieces and $169.99, while GamesRadar+ lists it at £149.99 in the UK and says it measures over 20 inches high and 15 inches wide. IGN and Polygon describe the wall art as three-dimensional, with bats and Batarangs extending off the frame. GamesRadar+ said it was the only one of the three sets available for pre-order at the time of its report. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
The other two sets are vehicles. The Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck set pairs the film's Batmobile with Penguin's duck-shaped vehicle, and Polygon reports the Batmobile can jettison its sides to become the Batmissile. Polygon puts the set at 672 pieces and $59.99, describing it as a smaller and more affordable alternative to a recent 2,269-piece collector's edition priced at $229.99. IGN says the set includes codes to unlock a gold theme for characters and vehicles and a gold Batman Returns Batmobile Batcave prop in the game Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
The third set, the Arkham Batman Batmobile, recreates the vehicle from the 2015 video game Batman: Arkham Knight. Polygon reports it has functional suspension, is 317 pieces and costs $29.99, and comes with a Batman minifigure; IGN and GamesRadar+ also note the minifigure. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
Polygon noted that Lego Batman has had a busy year, pointing to the May 22 release of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight by Warner Bros. Games, an open-world title inspired by the Batman: Arkham series. It reported the game holds a Metacritic score of 83 and a 95% user approval rating on Steam. [ 2 ]
Почему это важно
The sets tie Lego's Batman line to the May 2026 release of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which the coverage describes as well reviewed, and extend the Batman Returns and Arkham vehicle ranges at lower price points. For collectors, the new Batmobiles offer cheaper alternatives to a recent 2,269-piece collector's edition.
