The Beijing tournament is a WTA 1000 event played on hard court, Kommersant reported. The WTA Finals, featuring the eight best players of the year, will take place in Indian Wells in the United States from 8 to 15 November, the outlet said. [ 3 ]

Почему это важно

A first qualification for the WTA Finals puts Andreeva among the eight players contesting the tour's season-ending championship in Indian Wells in November. The two strongest outlets covering the news are Russian state agencies, and Kommersant framed the result as a milestone in her career, so the coverage reads as a national sporting achievement rather than a broader tour story.
