Версия 2: A second outage has been reported: power was lost in Alushta and Alushtinsky district on 6 October, which RIA Novosti and Kommersant attributed to an accident, with the district administration head cited as the source.

Коротко

Damage to 110-35 kV networks of the Taurida grid operator cut power in Crimea's Bakhchysarai district on 5 October, the state enterprise Sevastopolenergo said, a report TASS also carried. The next morning Alushta and Alushtinsky district lost electricity in what the district administration head, Galina Ogneva, called an accident, according to Kommersant, with RIA Novosti reporting the Alushta outage. The documents give no restoration times, no number of consumers affected and do not say whether the two outages are connected.

Damage to 110-35 kV networks of the Taurida PMES left Crimea's Bakhchysarai district without electricity, the state enterprise Sevastopolenergo said, according to Kommersant. The company said there was no voltage in the district, including the villages of Verkhnesadovoye, Pirogovka and Frontovoye. Emergency repair crews are working to eliminate the technical fault, and Sevastopolenergo said it would announce a restoration time later. TASS carried the same detail, reporting damage in the 110-35 kV networks of the Taurida PMES and the loss of power in Bakhchysarai district. [ 1 , 2 ]

The following morning the outage spread to another part of the peninsula. RIA Novosti reported that Alushta was left without electricity because of an accident, and Kommersant reported that power was cut in Alushta and Alushtinsky district, citing the head of the district administration, Galina Ogneva, who said in “Max” that the cause was an accident. [ 3 , 4 ]

The two outlets described the extent of the first outage differently. Kommersant reported the loss of power in Bakhchysarai district and in some settlements under Sevastopol, while the TASS summary referred only to Bakhchysarai district. Neither document gave the number of consumers affected, and none of the documents say whether the Bakhchysarai and Alushta outages are connected. [ 1 , 2 ]

The outages follow a period of constrained supply on the peninsula. Kommersant reported that last week Sevastopol was switched to a scheduled supply scheme of “two hours on, six hours off” because of a shortage of generating capacity; under the scheme, four queues of consumers receive power in turn, each for two hours. Regular interruptions have continued in the city and the rest of Crimea since spring, which Kommersant attributed to strikes by Ukraine's armed forces on the peninsula's energy infrastructure. [ 1 ]

The effects of such disruptions have gone beyond electricity, according to Kommersant. In June 2026, the loss of voltage shut down pumping stations that supplied water, stopped trolleybuses and put some kindergartens on a special regime because hot meals could not be prepared. During temporary cuts, priority is given to hospitals, emergency services and other strategically important facilities, the outlet reported. On 3 July 2026 it was reported that restoring supply after disruptions in Crimea's power system took from several hours to a day, and that the situation was complicated by near-daily drone attacks, according to a representative of the regional authorities. Почему это важно

The two outages come on top of a period of constrained supply in Crimea that Kommersant says has lasted since spring, when power cuts affected water pumping, trolleybus service and kindergartens. With no restoration time announced for either area, residents face continued uncertainty over supply. The documents offer no estimate of how many people are affected.

It set the events against a wider pattern of power shortages in Crimea since spring, which it attributed to Ukrainian strikes on energy infrastructure, citing effects on water supply, trolleybuses and kindergartens. Официальные источникиThe tier-1 official outlets carried short items: TASS said damage occurred in the 110-35 kV networks of the Taurida PMES and that Bakhchysarai district was left without power, while RIA Novosti reported that Alushta was left without electricity because of an accident. Neither gave further detail. [ 2 , 3 ]
