Jeju Province will hold the 2026 Jeju Pet Culture Industry Festival for three days, from Nov. 6 to 8, at the Jeju Sports Complex Halla Gymnasium and the surrounding area, Yonhap reported. The event brings a pet culture festival and an industry expo together in one place, the province said. [ 1 ]
The province said the event is meant to spread a mature pet-keeping culture and to lay the groundwork for growth in Jeju’s pet-related industry. The culture festival portion includes lectures by pet experts and hands-on activities in which pets take part. Animal protection and welfare organizations will also join to introduce animal protection policies and to give information needed for responsible pet ownership, according to Yonhap. The industry expo, called Jeju Pet Fair, will present a range of products and services in pet food, supplies and health care, with companies from inside and outside the province exhibiting and promoting their products and working to expand sales channels.
