Two drones were shot down over Russia's Ryazan region overnight, and a roof caught fire at an enterprise in the Sasovsky district, Governor Pavel Malkov said on October 8, according to RIA Novosti and Interfax. In the same report, Interfax said that earlier on Thursday Yandex had reported an incident at its data centre in the town of Sasovo. "An incident occurred at the data centre in Sasovo that affected part of the infrastructure. The situation at the site is now under control, and no one was hurt. The team is dealing with the consequences and restoring the affected services," the company's press service said. Neither Interfax nor Yandex said what caused the incident or whether it was linked to the drone attack. [ 4 ]
