Busan to hold KB Good Job job fair at BEXCO on the 26th with 220-plus firms

Busan city said on the 22nd that it will hold the 2026 KB Good Job Busan JOB Festival on the 26th at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1, together with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and KB Kookmin Bank. Yonhap reported that 28 local bodies, including the Busan Economic Promotion Agency and the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, take part as host organisations. [ 1 ]
Newsis reported that the fair runs from 10:00 to 17:00 in Hall 1 of Exhibition Center 1 in Haeundae District. According to Newsis, regional leading companies and "KB excellent companies", around 220 in all, will hold on-site interviews and hiring consultations in the recruitment hall, and Seoul Economic Daily gave the same figure. Newsis said hiring information reflecting Busan's industries, including future growth fields, will also be offered. [ 2 , 3 ]
Yonhap described the event, subtitled "Find My JOB, Open Busan's Tomorrow", as an integrated fair for all generations, from young people to middle-aged and older adults. The programme includes recruitment, publicity, consulting and experience halls, job lectures, company briefings and other events. Newsis said the consulting hall offers career counselling and CV and interview coaching by group, including young people, middle-aged people and seniors. [ 1 , 2 ]
Yonhap and Newsis reported that this year's changes include computerised registration with QR codes to simplify registration and interviews, and follow-up support, including additional job referrals, for those who do not find work. A new Women-Friendly and Distribution-Logistics Hall will offer tailored counselling and hiring information to women job seekers and distribution and logistics workers. The number of people covered by the regular-employment hiring subsidy rises from a maximum of 5 to 10, and up to 500 interview participants will receive 10,000 won each. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
Newsis added that a special experience hall called Naeil Tea House (내일찻집) lets participants choose a "policy tea" matching their job concerns and see related support policies. The 11:00 opening ceremony includes a slate ceremony. Job seekers can pre-register on the event website or register on the day, and those who pre-register by the 23rd and attend are eligible for a first-come event. Film director Jang Hang-jun will give a talk concert on courage and taking on challenges in pursuit of dreams. [ 1 , 2 ]
Yonhap quoted Busan Mayor Jeon Jae-su (전재수) as saying the festival is Busan's largest jobs festival linking generations and industries, and that it will be a valuable opportunity for citizens to find work in Busan. [ 1 ]
