Why it matters

The forecast covers the final day of a national holiday weekend, a period when travel and outdoor activity peak, and warns of a sharp one-day drop in daytime temperatures and strong cold winds. Rainfall was expected to be light in most areas, with heavier totals limited to northern Gyeonggi Province and northern Gangwon inland areas. The outlook is routine, but it shapes holiday travel and clothing plans for the day.
