Wildberries (RWB) is launching a digital procurement platform (ЦПЗ) that will let state educational institutions buy goods directly from sellers on the marketplace, the company's press service said, according to iXBT. TASS and RBC reported that the project is being carried out under a presidential instruction. The maximum sum of a single purchase on the platform is 5 million rubles, RWB innovation and ecosystem development department director Evgeny Etin told TASS. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
According to iXBT, kindergartens, schools, colleges and technical schools will use the platform to buy directly from marketplace sellers. The list of goods includes office and household supplies, technology and equipment that meet Minprosveshcheniya requirements and state procurement rules. The mechanics are based on a “purchase from shelf” model: sellers set out the price, the available quantity and delivery terms in advance, and the customer then chooses a suitable offer, with actual stock levels and delivery possibilities taken into account. [ 3 ]
At the first stage the service is available to a limited group of sellers, RBC and iXBT reported. Sellers can connect to the platform through their WB Partners account after registering in the Unified Register of Procurement Participants, and participation is free for suppliers, according to iXBT. After testing is completed, Wildberries plans to open the platform to all sellers that meet the requirements across Russia. The company says the project should move part of the procurement procedures of educational institutions into digital form and use the marketplace's logistics infrastructure. [ 2 , 3 ]
iXBT reported that the project is being created under a presidential instruction and as part of an experiment that began on 1 October 2026, after law No. 278-FZ took effect. TASS and RBC describe the platform as one that Wildberries will launch, while iXBT describes it as being launched in test mode, and the documents do not state whether it is already operating. Why it matters
The platform would move part of the procurement procedures of kindergartens, schools, colleges and technical schools into digital form and route those purchases through a marketplace's logistics infrastructure. It would also open a new, state-linked sales channel for sellers on Wildberries, with the pilot framed by a presidential instruction and a new law. The documents do not give figures on procurement volumes or the number of institutions expected to use it.
