The overall safety situation was stable, according to reports carried on October 10. Targeted checks before and during the holiday involved 108,000 enforcement personnel deployments and 60,000 visits to operators of tourism-related special equipment and elevators, including those at transport hubs, commercial complexes and large shopping venues.
