The figures show South Korea's imported passenger car market growing both year-on-year and month-on-month, with a single electric-vehicle brand taking more than a third of it. They also show electric vehicles making up a majority of imported registrations in the month, while European and Japanese-origin volumes fell and Chinese-origin volumes rose.

Пока неясно

  • Whether the September figures set a record for Tesla or for the import market as a whole. The documents give the eight-month streak and year-earlier and previous-month comparisons but no historical record comparison.
  • The share of Tesla's September registrations that were individual versus corporate purchases. Only the market-wide purchase-type split is given, not a brand-level breakdown.
  • Which Tesla Model Y variant figures should be compared across outlets. One outlet reports the Model Y model group at 11,421 units, another lists the Model Y L at 8,690 and Model Y Premium at 2,467; the documents do not reconcile these figures.
